We are a social, non-political, community-driven organisation that brings together Indian Communities in and around Sutton Borough to celebrate our cultural identity and enable integration with local communities.
Sutton Mitra Mandal welcome all community members to one of UK’s Biggest Saarvajanik Ganesh Festival being celebrated in an open park. This historic event brings together approximately 10,000 people and showcased the power of community spirit.
This year we are celebrating our 5th year of Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav on 30th and 31st Aug 2025.
What sets this festival apart is that it is entirely volunteer-driven. Our dedicated team of around 250 volunteers, organized into 15 teams, handled everything, from erecting a massive 5000 Sq ft marquee to providing Bhojan Prasad for 5500 guests, 24 x 7 security coverage, managing parking for 2000 cars, and providing 2000 plus liters of drinking water. We proved that when a community comes together, incredible things can happen.
